Our Foundational Trainings are offered to CR&TI’s practicum and post-doc trainees, as well as the community. This training is designed for mental health professionals who have no prior DBT Training as well as those who would like a refresher. We will cover a foundation of DBT’s strategies, principles and protocols.

SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) is a parent-based treatment for childhood and adolescent anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder that has been found to be as efficacious as individual cognitive-behavioral therapy. This is an intermediate-to-advanced level training that is aimed toward mental health professionals who intend to expand their clinical practice by providing step-by-step instruction on how to implement SPACE, a novel evidence-based treatment approach, in addition to providing the theoretical background and evidence base for the treatment.
